Tournament Setups: Viable Anti-ECM setup

This tournament has seen the very effective use of ECM to disable the opposing team and result in a stron victory. It does beg the question, 'What setup could be created that would be effective against both an ECM team, yet still be effective against on ECM teams?'.

There are several things a team can do to counter ECM

1. Use ships from one race only. An ECM team can only have so many racial jammers. By going with only one race you make it much harder for them to choose.
2. Lots of free midslots for ECCM. Armour tank teams genrally have free mid-slots which are ideal for boosting sensor strength though ECCM modules.
3. Sensor Dampers FTW. Sensor dampers force ECM ships closer where they are vulnerable. Also effective against non-ECM teams especially kiting teams.
4. High damage. When given a chance, the team has to kill before loosing another lock.
5. Drones. Drones can still be usefull when a ship is jammed. Hard to manage but still effective.

To this end I have come up with a setup that has all of these elements. Basically it is a variation of the Armour BC team using only Gallente ships. Gallente is an unpopular race to there is an additional advantage of perhaps the enemy fielding few if any racial jammers. Each ship in the setup below has a high sensor strength with only the interceptors having less than 60. In addition there are a total of 6 sensor dampers, 3 of them bonused. The setup had a huge amount of DPS comming in at around 4000 before overheating. Although not very fast, the setup can damp out the enemy sensors forcing them closer. The taranis act as tackle grabbing ships and waiting for the armour to come and pound.
